Currently 90 and very windy. Only supposed to hit 96 today after 111 on Mon and 108 on Tues.
By Fri our high is forecasted to be in the low 70's with clouds and rain. Our low yesterday was 79. They say we have a chance for significant rain on Fri. We have only had measurable rain on that date once in 113 years of record keeping. May is usually very dry.
It is extremely unusual for us to get a system like this through here this time of year.
This really has been a strange spring.

coldest night of the year here - 38ºF in the city at 8:00am. Lovely crisp morning for once, instead of all the horrible cloud

Everyone from Az. and Nev. can enjoy the heat while you have it. According to the forecast, it's supposed to get chilly in those two states for the next few days. Well, not cold of course, but they're talking about huge temp drops for those areas.

Marmac, you're so right about the cool temps and the crops. Even the flowers and trees seem to be sluggish without a lot of warmth.

Oh yea~back on topic. It's 43 degrees here and it's supposed to be around 70 today which is very close to our average.
i'm moving to pembroke pines, FL about 20 miles SW of Fort Lauderdale, I like the scenery here in GA alot better!!! thanks for empathizing though.

back to topic, it's a lovely 69 degrees here with the sun about to set in about 35 minutes.

Hey, DX, at least you won't be as far from the beach during those really hot days.

It was extremely windy today. Just looked at TWC and it says gusts are reaching over 40mph with sustained winds at 25mph. It actually got pretty warm, but the wind ruined it. It's still 69*, but probably feels in the low 60's. We might be getting rain this weekend, probably the same storm they are getting in Phoenix.
