Nice day so far, up here in Northern Maine. Right now it is 45 and a slight breeze so the snow is quickly melting and we are starting to see some bare ground out in the fields where it is wind swept. Supposed to start raining later today, which is a far cry better than more snow... that is coming this week-end they say.
Long sigh......lol....we got about 11" of snow yesterday and it's about 17 degrees here this morning. Several weeks ago we had beautiful Spring weather. I quess winter just had to rear her head one more time.
Only 62* now, but this weekend will be close to 80* at the beach and 90's in the valleys.
Just got back from Mammoth Mountain. Wow...glad I don't live there. It was so windy and cold. I believe it was in the 20's at night. They had like 7 foot tall snow banks/walls along the roads. It's such a hassle to layer up like that and then take everything off once your indoors. I notice every time I visit some place cold, I get sick. Maybe because of the constant transition of cold outside to warm, heated inside. Maybe just heaters make me sick because when we turn the heat on in my house, I get sniffly. Do any other warm-climate lovers like AnthonySA or SAB get like this? I would include you too ColdCanadian but you live in Toronto so it's not as bad for you.
30 in central Minnesota------windy-----had 8 inches of snow (so far) and more on the radar---all schools closed -------visibility bad.
