I'm afraid that Moscow will trigger SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
Moscow is located on quite high latitude, so days in autumn and winter are short there. Percent of possible sunshine is not extraordinary low there, I suppose.
I do. I love colder winters, but I only want 3 months of it. November is still autumn, and personally I find our November's too cool. Same goes for March. I prefer a quicker recovery. Nothing is worse then "limbo" weather (5-13C)....
In then end, I am more of a warm weather lover than a colder weather lover.
Yes but it's physically impossible to have a cold winter with a November like Austin. Realistically for a place to have cold winters and hot summers the average high in November is likely to be below about 53 F or so.

I know that, but that doesn't mean I have to like temps around 53 degrees. IMO that's lame weather.
