after some hours of detective work I managed to find the annual absolute min temperatures in sweden since 1985. I post it here if anyone's interested.

The lowest of China would be similar to that of Canada, or slightly higher.
The highest is usually 45~49.

2016 in Canada:

Highest: Oliver, BC = 39C
Lowest: Eureka, Nunavut = -47.4C (the first time the temperature has not dropped below -47.5C since 1905 when there were far fewer weather stations in the north).
