At least we only get around 3 months of such humid weather here, though it has only just started
Not quite as humid today, dewpoint only peaked at 24.3C
^^^Funny how the dew point is higher on the continent than the nearby ocean. The cold current shows.

The dewpoint dropped to 8c today with a high of 25c, an extremely comfortable day.
A heatwave is starting on Tuesday though, with highs around 30-35c and lows around 20c, and dewpoints mostly around 18-20c. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the dewpoints have been quite above average for the past few years or so.
I like that "hovering", meanwhile would be a big range here for 24hrs. lol

I'm curious what the pattern is like now that we got 70+ dews here. Usually a Bermuda High does it. Lets take a look at 5 maps!
1st, Current dewpoints. 12pmEST
2nd: Upper Level Pattern and winds. I left surface dews on as shaded.
So the Jet Stream is hovering in the Northeast and its humid on both sides of it, more so south of it of course.
3rd: Mid Level Pattern and winds.
Looks like a Mid level low over the Great Lakes spinning around. And almost looks like a Bermuda High, maybe too far East but the winds at the mid levels are pushing Atlantic air into Mid Atlantic states and also flow from the Gulf. Double Trouble.
4th. Surface Pressure and winds.
Yup, storm over the Great Lakes and we are getting winds off the Ocean here at the surface.
