Looks like it's back to normal...81 F/27 C with a dewpoint of 75 F/24 C now.

Yep, pretty noticeable increase in humidity today.

But it looks like it might not get as hot today as it did yesterday.

You think so I think Tampa might be a bit more humid than Melbourne. I think in the winter the west coast is drier though.

yeah, Canton & Estman Georgia are errors. I been seeing Estman with quite a few errors recently.

The 57° in Georgia looks good though I think.. Whats with the big drop there though. Wind shift there but not other sites?

Looks like that's where the High is centered and the front stalled over the Carolinas. I wonder if the mid levels are just too dry for storms to be forming at the border.

I know Tampa is drier outside of summer, probably about the same during summer.

Dew point of 71°F at 2 am in Nice. Strange, usually the dp is lower at night. Can't have a cold beer anymore without it causing half a pint of water to pool on the table or whatever is under the glass.

Your body disagrees with pretty much everyone on this thread, as all the other posters and meteorologists they quoted base their comfort scale on the dew point, that is to say the absolute humidity.

As soon as he said that he "doesn't care about physics" that's where I stopped my argument. There's no use in debating someone who takes their own anecdotal evidence as opposed to actual facts.

Before I learned about the dew point I always thought the same thing (that the humidity % is what to use). Pretty much became a household thing everywhere since the past. It didn't make sense a lot of times but I figured there was another reason. Then I learned about the dews and still fascinated how well it corresponds to body comfort or discomfort.

Speaking of comfort... Dewpoint 50° here this morning. Feels like fall with temps in Upper 50s.
