Ambient air temp is basically uniform 90F throughout TX. Cannot say the same for dew points.

Gotta love El Paso just basking in comfort while the rest of TX gets steambathed.

Basically like a "FU" to the rest of the state.

Must be a very strong dry front in Texas

STICKY AS HECK OUT THERE! My envelopes are sealing on their own.

My backyard graph this month.

I have to do some quality control. I'm at the highest dewpoint of the year today but it's not 73. Might be reading a tad too high after the torrential rains I got.

Bridgeport is 68. Danbury is 66. White Plains is 67. NYC LaGuardia is 71. (hmmm!)

I will adjust it to 72.0 for today if all the other stations around me hold. I miss that low on the 16th!

Low Temp: 39.7
Max Temp: 87.9

Low Dewpoint: 6.9
Max Dewpoint: 72.0

There are other stations reporting low 70s dewpoints in the area.

Temperature isn't unbearable today, but still pretty uncomfortable with the humidity. House is closed up otherwise it'll get too damp inside.

Right now it's 83 F/28 C with a dewpoint of 64 F/18 C.

Why is 70+ happening so easily for the northeast? I guess the rain helped.

Bermuda High the usual killer and probably warmer than normal Atlantic or gulf stream? SAD has come early for me.

I have to check how many times in May we hit 70 here.

I never wanted to revisted that 70+ streak. Lets hope this set up was a fluke!

This is going to be the first May since 2010 that the dewpoint didn't exceed 68F here.
