A) A very gradual warm up, barely perceptible on many days, with frequent wintry come backs, including frost and snow right till the end of May and exceptionally even in early June (or November/December in the S. Hemisphere).
B) Rapid warm-up/thaw, so that mini-heatwaves (20s Celsius or lower 70s F) are possible from late February and by late March winter is a distant memory. Certainly no more frost/snow (or very rare) after March. May (or November) is basically the first month of summer.
C) Rainy and windy at first (and at times snowy) then gradually drier and sunnier. Humidity drops off.
D) Dry and sunny at first, then progressively rainier and more humid as temperatures rise. Thunderstorms and possibly tornadoes, increase.
E) "Average" springs are rare, meaning there is a huge annual variation. One year spring can simply be an extension of February (or August) and, while in other years, spring feels like early summer, with early heatwaves.
F) A strongly continental pattern: seasons change virtually overnight, usually around the middle of the season.
G) Less gradual than A but more rapid than B: each month is definitely warmer than the previous one, thought not as sudden as in F.
H) A combination of some of the above OR Other: please state your own pattern/scenario.

I'll go with A since it matches my spring preference the most, but C would be somewhat appropriate. My "dream spring" would generally feature cloudy and cool conditions with snow common into April and even in May some years. But this time of the year would also feature a lot of rainy days. By the end of spring, there's usually at least a few dry, warm, sunny days. They become more progressively common heading into summer.
C. The beginning of spring shouldn't be hot yet like last year was, but rather cool. However as the season progresses it should get sunnier and warmer.
