Around the Midwest, we are watching for some accumulating snow Thursday, but it looks at this time will slide to our South of N Indiana, but could be a close call.

Snowing on Long Island right now. Radar filling in nicely.

Friday Snowstorm Update:

Lots of buzz about the Euro today. Supports snow all the way down to Baltimore.

The latest Euro says the more north you go, the less you get. I believe widespread 4-8" from Philly to Boston

Here's the latest qpf amounts from the last update which all... support snow. 10:1 up to 20:1 ratios are likely depending where you are.

So for those trying to figure it out, easy way to do it is, take the precip amount and multiple by the snow ratio
So Bridgeport, CT. .50 x lets say 12 = 6" of snow

Bridgeport: .50"
Windsor Locks: .30"
Poukeepsie: .29"
White Plains: .47"
NYC: .53"
Baltimore: .64"
Boston: .37"
Atlantic City: .68"
Philly: .54"
State College: .27

This should light some eyes up.

Here's what NWS Upton just said from Long Island.. https://twitter.com/NWSNewYorkNY.

NWS New York
1.5" of snow here at the office as of 7 PM w/ only 0.03" of liquid equivalent when melted. 50:1 snow:liquid ratio; that's some fluffy snow!

50:1 snow ratios!! Thats insane for Long Island
