Yuma, BUT with the following proviso :

A giant mall has to be constructed, like one of those super-sized Dubai malls, with its own fake "ski resort" and aquarium. A place where you can stroll around in air-conditioned comfort without drenching in sweat or roasting away.

Dublin's sunshine totals are still too low and those milder temperatures can't really compensate for this. Plus, Yuma's temperatures are tolerable, even pleasant for at least 6 months. It's only awful from May to September.

Well, that's what we are saying - you set yourself as an example for this forum, yet you're not less subjective than anyone else. That's fine with me, but if you describe Yuma as awful, and San Francisco as too warm, I don't see how it could possibly be "ill-advised" that, on my side, I see Dublin as a cold, dark, gloomy hellhole I respect everyone's preference here - the only thing I cannot tolerate are insulting/racist comments such as Kaul claiming that rainforest climates are only good for monkeys, or blatant statements such as "the whole of mankind prefers cold weather and anyone who says the opposite is a AC-hypocrit OR necessarily lacks any long term experience in a warm climate"...

I see that both my and your comments were entirely misunderstood - I thought your subjectivity reference was about forcing your own views on the entirety of the species. Since I now know that you were referring to abandoning moderation in the description of your own ratings, it certainly is not ill-advised; in fact I'd say it's a good move. I do it all the time, as others have noted .

That is the example that I try to set. Of course vitriol comes from the warm side as well - only comparing people like me to polar bears and saying that the entirety of humanity prefers hot (or just warm) weather. Lacking experience with the cold is also something that sometimes is pointed out; I'd say the air conditioning hypocrisy angle is something unique to heat-haters, but it's matched by cold-haters' unique denialism and weirdo accusations. I don't tolerate this from any side, but naturally the insults to winter-fans hit closer to home.

Alright! We indeed both misunderstood each other

I don't know if that's because I'm on the "heat lover" side, but I've always found cold lovers generally more harsh and sectarian here

Let's put it this way:

Number of livable months in Dublin: 12
Number of livable months in Yuma: 8 at the very most.

I voted accordingly.

Dublin is better by billion times. Yuma is horrible. I hate heat, endless sunshine, lack of rain. I like Dublin's mild heatless summers, even when they're cooler than I like.
