Vancouver was in the 80s yesterday and will be for the next few days. I went to coast and it was a good 15 degrees cooler which sounds like your weather. It's a great place to beat the heat during summer. Perhaps you have a similar climate to the WA/OR coast?

It was gorgeous at the beach and one of my favorite escapes. Here's a few shots.

Beautiful pics. I love the Oregon Coast. Puget Sound has its own sort of rainforesty inland climate, less extreme than the coast.

Today was & still is, a beautiful, sunny day. It's awesome to be outside in full daylight & it's past 9:00 p.m.! I am not currently dreaming of Yuma! Happy Summer Solstice, yaaaaay!

It's a beautiful, sunny 69 degree day (supposed to get into the low 70s today), no humidity, light breeze- perfect summer weather.

We've been in the 80s the past couple of days. Tomorrow is supposed to drop back into the 70s. One of the nice things with warm summers days and the very pleasant early mornings and summer nights when all you need are shorts and a t-shirt on. I enjoyed a sunrise paddle this morning and temps felt great out there. Summer also brings water lilies which bloom once a year on our local lake. Here's a few photos from the past couple days. Gotta love early summer in the PNW.

Nice pics of N Coast Oregon.
Many of the view points from the road are now overgrown by new growth trees, brambles, and thimble berry. I had a mind once to take my chainsaw in the early dawn.

Cascade Head this past week. It's all within a day trip drive from southern WA. I prefer the northern Oregon coast from where I live in Vancouver. Although the southern WA coast can interesting around Cape Disappointment. As for the WA coast in general, I prefer the northern parts near ONP. It's more scenic there.

^Night sky is also very good before the fog sets in, later in the summer.

We're supposed to top out at 65 degrees today. It's 55 degrees around noon and overcast and gray. Rained over night. Northern Puget Sound mainland.

This gray weather is nice this time of year vs. the short, colder gray days in winter.
