Living above the bar and the clubs with cheaper rents, and engaging in the remorse?

That's a great question to ask if you want to be miserable living in DC. There's no place in DC like the Upper West Side of Manhattan. There might be a few shops that would fit in on the UWS - the Politics and Prose bookstore comes to mind.

I don't think that exists in NY

I mean, everywhere the cost of living is so high throughout NYC, especially Manhattan where there are a lot of clubs and bars.

What is 'West Side'? Is that the Upper West Side? There are some bars/clubs, but not a lot.

Most of the bars in NYC are in East Village and Greenwhich Village...both of which are quite costly to live.

The thing that is so ironic about all of that is back when all of the bars and the clubs were actually good the cost of lviving was not so high.

Now that nightlife has turned into absolute trash (ever listen to some of the music that is being played in the clubs now days?) the cost of living is through the roof.
