yes, Tata owns them. And same problems are looming, because of the huge difference in labor costs between China and Sweden and India and England.

Same article mentioned interesting thing about Volvos, and it makes sense. In order for Geele to make Volvo profitable and sustainable, both companies must start sharing parts and supplies and labor. Well, if someone will tell me that Chinese parts are up to par with Volvo quality. Or the labot costs difference between the countries.

The bad years for Volvos were from about 1998 - 2001.

Also, why be shocked that they're Chinese owned now? Half of everything in the US now has Chinese ownership behind it.
