Could, who knows. I think we start to see "changes" to the pattern after next week meaning Polar Jet Stream will finally flex its muscles and drop south but yeah, I don't expect anything consistent yet. El Nino finally weakening but its take a lot of time for Atmosphere to respond. Doesn't mean we cant get a snowstorm though.

Temps at 4500 feet have been depressing to see. It's not even below freezing and this weekend will warm to near 10C!

Euro model shows some arctic air for about the 18th. We'll see. Maybe that is a sign IF we can get timing and a storm to coming up which will drop snow.
.
Sure enough....It changed last night. Watching the potential for snow now on the 18-20th time frame.

Little rain today...
Rain Tuesday next week
Rain maybe to snow showers Thursday next week

Started a thread for the 18th storm. This may be your lucky storm of the month. (if you want snow)

Will keep updates there but post local/state stuff here time to time. Still 7 days away so you know the changing drill. lol

Screen shot your forecasts to see how much they change over next few days

Me too.. even if it's rain for me, Just to track something for the region!

Not going to be much updates next few days. Still too far so it's just a chance right now.

First we'll see if "a storm" is consistently showing up on the models (which I will post daily),

then we start looking for a general track 5 days out.

Then we focus more on PType, Temps, and how much precip is being shown at least 3 days out.

I wanna say "enjoy it" but isn't 2 weeks of it enough? In fact since May. May, September, November were well above normal very warm months. Enough already! lol

And looking back.. December last year only had a warm trend towards the end.. Much warmer this year so far. Burlington hasn't been below 45 since Wednesday???

Next week real cold air coming in. Flow changes from SouthWest to Northwest but that snowstorm is not being shown anymore. What else is new. Snow showers only. We'll see if things change next couple days

Todays Highs. No precip this weekend. Spring time. Did you know it was in the 60s this morning in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Normal is 30s!

Horrible. Just continues on and on through end of month. Northern New England obviously more chances than most in East, but the overall pattern is horrible if you want the season of "winter". If you want an extended Fall or spring then this is your year so far.

GFS 6z coming up next 2 weeks...No End

I've been thinking about putting new grass seeds down.

This Christmas could be a very memorable one ... And it wont be for cold and snow.

One must ask, are we going through what the Western U.S went through with a stuck Ridge. We got the ridge now. ... Since May!
