Didn't know about the Civil War connection.

Next up is skyline from around 1950's, if you don't mind. Looks big, but today every single building pictured is obscured by larger modern buildings.

The tower looks like one that's downtown in Dallas on San Jacinto Street near the Aquarium and east of the JFK Plaza. Dallas?
