Judging from the car orientation on the left bottom corner, it's probably one of the LHD countries. Judging from the shape/design/style of residential buildings, definitely not Asian LHD country. Snow covered peaks but no snow whatsoever on street eliminates the UK, because all UK mountains are too low for that. That leaves South Africa, Australia, New Zealand. Not sure where exactly it is located. All I can tell for sure is, it's definitely not Johannesburg, Cape Town, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland.
Reminds me of Split but I was there when it was in Yugoslavia. Back then, during the Cold War, it was easy to go hitchhiking and Americans were a novelty to them.
