It's Krakow, Poland. Every hour, day and night, a trumpeter sounds an alarm from the taller steeple in the church, warning of the impending attack from the Tartars (in 1241.) The alarm is broken off near the end, commemorating when a Tartar arrow went through the original trumpeter's throat.

I don't remember it having a skyline but I do remember the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, in Córdoba, visited over a weekend in the late 80s while TDY to Morón Air Base, near Seville.
