Hint: the reason this skyline is table top is because of its proximity to an airport.

It is not located between these two cities. My second hint is that this city is in a monarchy.

Okay, no guesses yet today, I guess my skyline ended up being harder then I thought again. I'll give another hint: this is part of the downtown of a city that is often considered a suburb of a larger city.

The buildings have that Pacific Rim look, similar to Vancouver, but the density isn't high. Since it's a suburb near an airport, is it Richmond, BC?

I didn't recognize Richmond outright, it was process of elimination. I spent a long weekend there about 15 years ago, visited Vancouver but didn't stay downtown as planned due to the Grand Prix.

This is famous for a country song.
