Since no one really knows HOW this virus is going to be eradicated.... and theres no vaccine or even any medicine yet to combat it.. its all just sort of a toss up in genetics... No one knows if there will be a second wave or not... however, many are going on history with other pandemics...

Theres no need to call ANYONE 'pathetic' for whatever reason, when it comes to this. This is 'new' territory.. and I for one have stayed home because of my health issues... I dont WANT to not be working, but Im really not ready to die yet either.... not by being a 'non pathetic worker' anyway (yeah.. write THAT on my tombstone!)

It could be argued that Pascal's wager, could be extrapolated into this scenario - and as a pragmatist I figure Im better off leading the next little whiles as though this virus IS as virulent as has been stated, and that staying indoors away from others will keep me healthier. And if it means accepting unemployment for the first time in my life after working hard for more than 40 years... Im not going to lose sleep over anyone thinking I have my greedy hand out, hoping for additional assistance.

True, but the fact it's being discussed means somethings coming. It means things are bad in the economy and they know it.

You mean ordered to stay home while taking away your ability to earn a living, collapsing the economy. Why don't you complain about the trillions given to bail out wall street?

So you get say a low income undocumented family with 3 kids that collectively makes $30K a year. They will now get $10K a month tax free? While still collecting Medicaid and SNAP?

Or a retired couple collecting SS and a pension who has had no financial impact of the virus. They now get an extra $4K a month?

What is this country coming to?

I would rather see the little guy get the money than Wall Street but that ain't how it works.

Rooting for the virus? What the hell is wrong with you?

Did you fall out of the evolutionary tree and hit every branch on the way down?

Oh I get it, you must have watched Plandemic. It's all a hoax, right? No one is actually dying...

Nope... never watched it. But I do know the media has painted this picture that everyone is gonna die when that just isn't the case. 78k deaths in the USA... not even close to the millions that were predicted and no, it's not all because we were saved by social distancing... LOL

But yeah, lets all hide in our houses and collapse the economy and do far more damage than the virus has and will have done by the time it's all over.

P.S. I'm still working BTW so at the end of the day it's no sweat for me that the governor issued another stay at home order. The people who are at the house on the brink of financial collapse might be a little more upset about it than I am though. I'm getting a nice commute every day.

Ok... so since millions didnt die - its a hoax?
When you start looking at HOW many people 78K are (and thats ONLY in the USA).. its scary. Truly scary. Whats even MORE scary, is that you dont seem to be affected by these numbers.

WHEN will it be 'enough' deaths for you to reconsider your stance? Give me a number.
