I am located in Massachusetts. I was collecting, but when my benefit ran out, I decided to file a new claim cause my amount would go up. But I didn't follow through after that day. I stopped searching for a job due to personal woes and it was best that I stayed unemployed, so nothing has happened with that. I got something in the mail asking for my statement to determine my monetary eligibility. But I also am ready to begin looking for a job again since things have cleared up here. So at this point, Can I go ahead and try to file for an EB instead of picking up from where I left off on the new claim?
