I filed my first EB claim on Thursday 3/29 and it was deposited into my account this morning (3/31). I mailed the work search form they sent me the Friday beforehand as instructed, but I have not received a new work search form for the weeks 24-31/1-6.

Is this sort of delay normal? I was under the assumption that they would continue to mail work search forms each time I needed to file. I'm supposed to mail in the work search next Friday (4/6) and file again the following Thursday (4/12)

any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated THANK YOU

Does this form look like the one you need to fill out?

I went to the NJ UI website and looked under forms for claimants and was able to find this work search form.

http://lwd.dol.state.nj.us/labor/for.../ui/BC-514.pdf

You could print this form out, fill it out, and mail it in to them.

Hopefully this is the correct form for you.

yes that is identical to what i wrote in the first work search form ... thank you

i assume mailing that would be ok? the 1 they actually sent to me was yellow and had a "remarks" section (only if you weren't looking for work)

thanks again! i'll just fill that out and if one comes during the week i'll just copy it to the yellow form

no they dont provide a fax number so im assuming snail mail it is ...

my only problem is i do not know my "claimant identification number" to fill in.
i really hope this comes in the mail by monday, otherwise i have to wait 2 hours at unemployment just to ask a 5 second question... That number isnt my SS number is it?

It would be a guess to say if that number is your SS#.

Is there a way you can go down there and talk to someone?

Is it very far from where you live?

I totally understand. If it were me though, and I had the time and the gas was not too crazy, I would bring a book and wait in line
