hi, I just joined this forum. I had seen that someone had posted a question regarding unemployment after disability. I was hoping that someone out there would have some answers. I just found out that once I return to work after being on disability I'll be layed off. I tried looking on NJ sites to see how that works. My doctor has not given me the ok to go back to work yet. I have been paying my medical benifits. The family leave act protects me for 12 weeks I think. What should I do once those weeks are up. Do I stay on disability or do I collect unemployment, or do i wait till he he actually tells me I'm layed off. I won't be able to afford cobra so my medical treatment stops. If that stops I will not recover to my fullest potential due to lack of therapy. Any 1 have any advise?
