I originally had and approved unemployment claim in October 2009. I claimed 1 week and was paid, I got a job after only being on unemployment for that 1 week so I stopped claiming weeks, That job I started in late October 2009 just ended so I submitting another unemployment claim with the new company on Sunday night. When I log into the unemployment online, it shows my old benefit balance and what my old weekly benefit amount HOWEVER it show my benefit year began on 10-2-2011? It also says I need to claim next on 10-18-2011.
Has it just not updated yet? or does the old benefit balance need to used first? I'm so confused.
