I really hope she beats it. She posted on FB that she's trying to keep up her spirits and hopes to return to "Days" as planned ASAP.

I like Eve and always wished they had her sing more.

Well if lack of comments on this soap are any indication, people have lost interest.
Today I almost lost my mind. The ENTIRE episode they had electronic "music" which was so annoying and distracting. I don't mind a few violins and such during dramatic scenes but EVERY scene---even two guys standing there talking had noise competing with dialog.
I'm going to erase my season pass and let this one go.
Bye bye DOOL

I missed today's episode so I'll catch up when NBC puts it online tomorrow.

I belong to message board where people post about DOL. We mostly make fun of it because it's gotten so awful. Sometimes we "re-write" the plots. That's the only reason to watch these days as far as I'm concerned.

Some of the writing seems bizarre at times--especially the direction the writers have taken some of the characters.

I think it's dying a slow death. The genre isn't what it once was and with budget/funding cuts, DOOL isn't what it once was either.

The stories often don't make sense. They just drop them without explanation or with a very implausible explanation. It's like they don't know what to do with the characters any longer.

case in point Lonnie just never was heard from again. why bring her at all. Belle and what's his name shipped off to never never land, Rafe's mother- did they have her leave or did she just disappear? seems like they didn't think through the actors they hired or the characters they created.

Rafe's mom just disappeared and later on they made some vague reference to her going back home because she was ill or something along those lines.

So now it appears Eduardo and Kate are getting back together again.

Yep, I'm one of those who's given up. About once a week I'll check out the show, watch for about 10 minutes, and turn it off again. There's nothing that interests me, and I don't like any of the characters anymore, except for Caroline Brady.

I haven't watched this show in many months. In fact, it got so dull that I don't even read the recaps of it anymore. However, I do want to watch Teresa's last episodes this week. They're supposed to be really good but I'll likely catch them online so I can skip over the other parts of the show that I don't care about.

She was like a Sami Brady, sort of. Did crazy and often flat-out mean stuff at times but every now and then, we got to see there was also a good, much kinder side to her as well.
