Carisi is probably not going to like that Declan (Jessie’s bio dad) is now back in NYC and is no longer undercover, but rather Captain of another squad.
One of the non SVU detectives working this terrorist case that SVU is loaned out for is played by Jason Biggs (American Pie, etc.).
The other cop who likes Amanda was also in this episode (they had to pretend to be married in an episode in a previous season).
I didn’t know until a few minutes ago (the episode is on WEtv right now) that Raul Esparza also played a different A.D.A (besides Barba) in the Law & Order universe.
He played A.D.A. Kevin Mulrooney in a Criminal Intent episode (judging by the look on Eames’ face when Goren asked her about it, he and Eames were together briefly after her husband died).
He also played another character in an original Law & Order episode.
Tracy Pollan (Michael J. Fox's wife) had a meaty guest starring role as Harper (a rape victim....a role that, IIRC, that she reprised in a later season) in a very early episode of SVU.
She had a boyfriend when she was raped (boyfriend had nothing to do with the rape). The boyfriend was in one scene (he was an ex-by that time...Harper had moved and had tried to disappear).
Fifteen plus years later there was a famous talk show host in an SVU episode. He was the perp in what started as a consensual encounter that turned into a rape and choking, and then a second rape of the same victim in an elevator. He was convicted. The same actor played both parts.
Sometimes I feel like running Rollins up a proverbial flagpole and leaving her there....but I don't like this development ^^^^^ at all.
The season opener for each L & O, on September 22nd, will be a three show crossover.
It was announced quite a bit ago that Anthony Anderson will leave the mothership (he only signed a 1 year deal to begin with), and that Mehcad Brooks will be coming in.
Now, on Organized Crime, two young detectives will be added for Season 3.
On SVU, Molly Burnett will now be added as Detective Grace Muncy.
(I hope the exit of Rollins doesn't mean Carisi will be leaving).
