I have seen one episode with Aston Kutcher, and that was the only one. No matter how you felt about Charlie Sheen, he was the one who made the show.

He was. The interesting thing was Charlies and Allan's characters were similar to their real lives. Charlie being the party boy and Jon being the more reserved type.

The show should end before it gets scrapped.

Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen was ok but I just couldn't become a fan. Some episodes I liked and some were just boring.

I remember when I was a kid I was a big fan of "The Streets of San Francisco" and then one day I remember Michael Douglas got shot and he was replaced by Richard Hatch, it was the first time I can remember that a major TV character that I knew died and was replaced by somebody else

Valerie Harper was written out of her own self-titled show, "Valerie," due to a dispute with the producers. Sandy Duncan joined as the aunt and they changed the title to "Valerie's Family" and then "The Hogans."

Oh, and Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel Aire - both mom's changed actresses and I didn't care for the new ones.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show lost Rhoda a couple of seasons in. I thought it was interesting that her "replacement" was kind of Sue Ann. Smart move I think. She added a different flavor to the show.

Never understood the appeal of Two and a Half Men...I don't really feel any attachment to the characters. They seem sort of hopeless with a lack of any endearing qualities.

The Jefferson's had two actors who protrayed Lionel Jefferson. Mike Evans was the original Lionel before the Jefferson household spun off from All in the Family. Damon Evans replaced Mike early in the series. But Mike returned to protraying Lionel about the middle of the fourth season.

The British show Primeval keeps killing off its main characters altho I think (hope) they've settled down to a more stable cast list by now
