I have a feeling that either Hollie or Jessica will win. If either of those two dodn't win, they are still worthy enough for a recording contract.

I don't like Skylar Laine. Her singing does nothing for me. I couldn't understand why the judges raved about her performance.

I wonder why everyone is rooting for Josh. His voice is awful, and I get irritated and annoyed when I listen to him. I hope he goes home.

Hollie is a great singer and pure class.

Hey Dawgg,

Joshua and Jessica are not going anywhere anytime soon!! I predict the final four will be Joshua, Jessica, Hollie and my boy, Philip

Happy to read that! She can sing but it does nothing for me either. And I'm a country fan, and she is (supposedly) a country girl...

I think Deandra is this year's Constantine Maroulis. Annoying and untalented as I've ever seen.

I agree about Skylar, I don't care for her singing at all.

Not a fan of "Year of their birth songs" theme,

I mean, "When a Man Loves a Woman", please...
it was a big hit for Percy Sledge in 1966 ...someone covered it in the 1990's? To me it's a 1966 song!

"Let's Stay Together", Al Green had a giant hit with it in 1972.
Also "Hard to Handle", that one is not so bad,
The Black Crowes DID have a big hit with it in 1990,
but it really is an Otis Redding song, he wrote and recorded it shortly before his death 1967.

IMO the judges went overboard with praise for Joshua, it was good but...

I like Hollie, she's a really good singer.
Philip Phillips has a unique voice, he's good too.

I think that was simply because they spent an entire night bored listening to terrible songs and singers. That made him seem exceptional.

What kill me as some of contestants said the picking birth year theme was a challenge.
I was thinking that probably easiest theme week for them. They could choose any genre that was produced within the 365 day of their birth year.

You could easily spot last night which ones that will not make it and it all those that just stood there and sing.
The ones who performed and you could feel emotion in the singing will make it in top 12.
