Hmmm... I believe you're fishing for an apology here, so tell you what...
I hereby apologize for believing that you insulted the American way of life because we happen to love our automobiles - which you indicate is a "statement of fact". Okay, you're entitled to state whatever you want! No problem there, except that now its my turn: I find you to be a bit stuffy in how you state your "facts", okay? That's MY statement of fact.

Next situation: You're stating that I insulted you by calling you "Joe".
Is that correct?
You then went on to qualify that with an "unintentionally, I presume".
Is that also correct?
You also stated that you've have had this concern "over the decades".
Is that also correct?
You went on to indicate that you "have found this to be a penchant of many".
Is that also correct?
You also stated that you are not a "Joe", and that you "have never signed anything on the board that way."
Is all of the above correct?

Here's my answer to you: How is anyone on these "boards" supposed to know in advance that you (by "never having signed anything on the board that way") have some (I'm presuming now) possible emotional hangup about "Joe"?
If you did not officially state that in your profile, or if you failed to give everyone here fair warning or some advance notice of same - how are we to know about (I'm presuming again) possible childhood problems with "Joe"?

I suggest to you that you add I AM NOT A JOE somewhere up under your tagline area, so that we may have proper advanced warning as to how you will react to "Joe" in case we (once again) fail to heed the said advanced warning.

Now then... how do you feel about Joey? Or Jojo? Jose? Joselito? Is Joojoo too out there?

I personally have no hangups with being called ZP, or the Zone Man, or ZeepyPeepy, or Phoney Baloney, or Zonilius Ponilius or any other such cute nicknames. You see... I have no hangups or childhood images of such awful and terrible things!

Got that? Okay... I hope we're clear!

Whatever your cryptic message means , it's still OK. I generally make people "mad," so "sad" would be a step up! Mmm, you sure you didn’t mistype it…?!

You can call me Grunhilda Schpitzenholf, if it's any consolation.
