Are you just picking Tucson out of the blue? One might suggest visiting a place before you commit to just up and moving there. As is the case around the world, some places may be great to one person and to another be a total disappointment. I don't know of any day care that would be $7 a day. That's highway robbery if you ask me. Seems a safe average would be $250-$500 a week depending on type of caregiver you were looking for. Public schools are free. No idea on private school costs.

Honestly, the info you are seeking is so widespread that it might be helpful if you did some research and narrowed down your specifications. Starting there might be the best for you and your family.

I don't live in Tucson but just wanted to say that yes there are definitely public schools there, there is no tuition with public schools here in the states aside from your tax dollars of course. For private yes most do require tuition, and their fees all vary so it's hard to say how much.

If I'm not mistaken your coming from Canada correct? Well let me say if you do decide to come here welcome to America, and while I'm not a Tucson resident I can definitely say it's a nice group here in the Tucson section, so feel free to ask them any questions you have.

sorry to reply late.
I understand that it will cost me an avg of 400$ per week per child x 4 weeks x 3 children = 4800$ a month. let's say 5000$.
So, it better for american families to stay with thier children at home than working
let's take an example of a low salary family with a revenu 12$/h x 160 hours a month x 2 people = 3840$ a month per family !!! if they have 3 children, they can not work !!!!
Please, I don't understand the $250-$500 per week per child!!!
people here pay 140$ a month per child.

My question, are there other alternative to that?
regards

250-500 a week..Good lord!!! Its been a while since I have had babies. I think I would stay home and raise my own kids and go back to work when they are in school.

I were a Canadian, I'd go to Canada. And I'm not being sarcastic at all.

You probably need to do research. I think the poster used $250 as an example but isn't really sure. I SUSPECT, but don't know, you could probably get it for $100/child/week. That is because I have known people without particularly high incomes to use childcare services.

Additionally, I believe there are flexible spending accounts available so that money spent would be tax free. Some companies provide child care for free.

I don't know if this makes you feel much better, but I checked it out, the weekly costs are $100-$150/child.

Arizona Child Care Resource and Referral

You may also qualify for assistance ( Arizona ) depending on income, but I would guess you wouldn't get a Canadian level of subsidy, Arizona is pretty libratarian.
