RENO, Nev. - A woman has filed a lawsuit accusing Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of raping her last summer in his penthouse room at a casino in Lake Tahoe during a celebrity golf tournament.
Roethlisberger’s lawyer adamantly denied the allegations Tuesday.
And this happened a year ago? Well at least justice is being served, not justice in the sense of filing a criminal complaint per se, but justice in the fact that the half-million she is seeking will deter Ben from doing this again, presumably? That probably is much more important than having him arrested and sent to prison. Or, there was no crime committed, but why than would she say she was raped? Weird.
I don't buy it. A year to file a civil suit? Please...
And Ghengis, she took a year to fabricate her story, and let time go by as long as possible to get the case in her favour. And the reason to saying she was raped? How about 500,000 reasons.
