After thinking about this today, I am outraged, yes, this was a circumstantial case...but now she is free, time to just move on. Life is not fair, that is why Scott is sitting on death row, and Casey will be free...Just the way it is.

I LOVED Nancy Grace last night, trashing the jurors...that was hilarious! She basically called them a bunch of red neck, uneducated, trailer trash idiots...it was too funny.

People just need to accept the decision. My daughter told me Casey is moving back home with her parents?! Now that, is DYSFUNCTION@!!!!!!!
And there has been media reporting saying she is going to Houston, TX. I think it would be wise to get her out of Central Florida as well as to get her out of the state of Florida. Too many nuts running around acting out.

Well, if what happened to OJ's book is any kind of prediction to what will happen if Casey tries to publish a book.....she might not be bringing in millions....

from wikipedia, on "If I Did It?"
On November 20, 2006, News Corporation issued a statement saying that the book and television special had been cancelled. In the statement, NewsCorp chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch said, "I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project. We are sorry for any pain this has caused the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown-Simpson."[30]

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't! No one should be getting a dime from this tragedy!

What he told Amber Frye is hearsay at best and I've reviewed the evidence from the Peterson trial. This case had far more evidence presented than his trial and the Peterson jury deliberated for 7 days going over the evidence with a fine tooth comb. Not only that, Peterson had experienced veteran Mark Geragos, not rookie Jose Baez, and still went to Death Row. Perhaps what swayed the jury in that case was that Scott has his car packed and ready to disappear, but the 31 days of fun & frolic should have affected this jury given that Baez admitted to Caylee dying on June 16th, 2008. And for the Anthony jury to only spend 10 hours after 6 weeks of detailed testimony ... really makes you wonder about the motivation of this and any jury. Maybe we should go to non-jury trials in cases of capital murder ...

Party on Casey - you child murderer!

If they do go this route on the non-jury trail, will the judge decide if he/she is guilty or not or is there another way?

ABC news just talked to Juror #3 and she said giving that verdict made them sick and they were all crying, even the men. But they felt they had no option but to do it.

Oh NOW she says they're crying ... sure ... how transparent. She's saying what she thinks people want to hear her say so she isn't "villianized" and isn't asked "hard questions" while she earns a few bucks off the tabloid news.

Currently, it is an option for any defendant, but not chosen much due to the randomness and unpredictability of jurors. Also, it depends on the defendant's perception of their own guilt. I believe a guilty defendant is more likely to choose a jury trial and a non-guilty defendant would opt for non-jury trial. I also that each state regulates how the non-jury trial panel would work, whether it be just one judge or a panel. But I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not sure ...

IMO, had Casey chosen a non-jury trial and gotten Judge Perry, she would on a bus for Lowell CI.
