In July, all the lobbying came to fruition and Toledo had it's own sub-forum. So many folks saying you deserved recognition and how useful your own site would be.
Welcome Toledo Forum!!

Now there's about one post per week... how quickly the shine has worn off.

I noticed this too. Every time I check the Toledo forum it seems virtually untouched. Can't be too useful, can it?

It is a fairly dead forum, unfortunately.

After all the cheerleading, gaining the support of a moderator that has gone invisible and working the administrator for a forum...it's dead in 6 months. Sad state of affairs...or I should say city of affairs.

What would you like to talk about?

And actually, if you look at the general Ohio forum, there is not that much play on that either....

Well, right now I'm talking about my disappointment in the loss of interest in this forum. I grew up in Perrysburg and keep the Blade as well as the Messenger available on line to stay in touch since I still have friends there. I found it odd that all the major cities in Ohio had sub-forums except Toledo. The attached link is just a footnote to the fuss people made to get this forum.

Now it seems like there isn't even a moderator. There have been posts that are pure advertisements...not allowed on C-D. There was a post for someone looking for a place to buy pot. Yeah, I reported the post and there was no response...none. I asked one of the Florida mods to check on it and they had to delete it theirself.

Very few respond to the threads here and I'm wondering why.

Unless you are Florida, California, North Carolina, Texas, or a few other Sun Belt states, you don't find too much activity. With all the other forums that relate to personal life, you find much more activity there.
