coming in to downtown from the south you get to see more cluster with some of the older and shorter buildings in the foreground and the taller buildings in the back.

on a sunny day driving in from the west on allen parkway or memorial drive and seeing the skyline rise up through the trees.

but my favorite is driving south on 45 from the north. when you get to the overpass on the 610 exchange and you see all the taller impressive skyskrapers all lined up abreast almost filling the panorama of your windshield. this is in my opinion the signature view of houston. breathtaking. catch it at at sunset on a clear day and you'll never forget it.
Yeah I hear ya. I like Dallas too but have always had a thing for Houston. Wouldn't it be really cool if Houston and Dallas were twin cities and had both of their skylines?

You're just a homebody! You don't like to be away from home too long.

LOL! You have to admit that if the DT/UT of Dallas and Houston were combined that would be one hell of a skyline!

I like how people are saying "Dallas can't even compare with Houston." Pffft, gimme a break, like we're comparing Hong Kong's skyline to Midland's. They can compare and they do, so get over it Houstonians, you're skyline ain't that massive and impressive. That's not to say I don't like it, but please stop exaggerating like the skyline is untouchable and on another level from Dallas'.
