Most people outside of Dallas's little photography & artsy fartsy community have never heard of that dude. He got locally famous on an internet forum & Flickr account for crying out loud. I'm sure even the local media (DMN, WFAA, Fox 4, etc.) outside of the Dallas Observer has no clue who he is.

He takes some wonderful pics yes (its amazing what software will do these days), but he's not that famous, seriously.

They're some of my favorites, too! There's one with fog covering the Trinity that I'll repost later.

What have this dude done to you for you to slander him like so.....You are one biased to the core houstonian wannabe....Lighten up some.....just enjoy the wonderful pictures because they ARE that....and just chill...I know the pics of houston that are showing up sure dont beat his..

No slander at all. I love his work, but for some forumers on here to put him up on a pedestal as the only respected amateur photographer in the state is pure rubbish. He's a local yocal that got known on forums just like this. That's it. There are literally thousands upon thousands out there just like him of which most don't even bother posting their work online so you never really hear about them unless you walk into an art gallery & happen to stumble across their prints.
