I was driving north on I35 through San Marcos today. I noticed a *very* major accident of some type on the southbound lanes. They had the road completely blocked, and there was about half a mile's worth of police cars, ambulances, and a few fire trucks. There was even a freaking *helicopter* on the freeway.

That was around 12PM. I came back on I35 south through San Marcos around 6PM and there were no lane closures or signs of anything.

Does anyone know what happened, or where I could find out? Thanks for any information.

It was a UFO crash site. The helicopter was federal government carting away alien bodies to an undisclosed location to undergo further examination & tests.

Oh & Obama is the Messiah.

It was actually a little north of San Marcos. Like between San Marcos and Kyle.

I wanted to add, I got the impression the helicopter was needed to get to the victims because there may have been a crash pile up behind them. The helicopter seemed like it was in front, and all the cops and fire trucks and others were behind it.

There was about a mile of backed up traffic on the southbound access road.

I found another report in San Marcos news today...

San Marcos Record, San Marcos, TX - Police probe IH-35 mishap

Police probe IH-35 mishap

From staff reports

San Marcos — San Marcos police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon accident involving a car and two 18-wheelers.

A Lexus passenger car struck the rear trailer of an 18-wheeler that was waiting in line at a weigh station near mile marker 210 on southbound IH-35, Sgt. Dave Waugh said.

After colliding with the truck, the car spun to the left and hit another 18-wheeler.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported by helicopter to University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin with major injuries. The truck drivers were not injured.

I wonder if the driver was texting at the time.

I believe this is my friend, Jane. She and her friend were driving back to MA to start school when she hit the median, flipped her car and was seriously hurt. She was med-flighted to some hospital in TX, and the friend just had minor injuries. Currently, Jane is on life-support, and there is some brain activity.

I graduated high school with Jane, and am a close friend in MA. It's hard for our group to get all the details being so far away, so this is all I know. I hope this answers some of your questions.

PS. Jane wasn't an alien, and she wasn't texting. She knows better.

Default Lets clear the record a bit

No this is me. I was driving home to San Antonio from Austin on Wednesday, whereupon i slammed on my brakes to avoid hitting an 18-wheeler. At this point, I blacked out. I was told that I went under the first 18-wheeler, which ripped off the entire roof of my car, and then slammed into another 18-wheeler. It is a a miracle that I am still alive. The doctors at Brackenridge Hospital could not believe that I'm still alive, let alone without brain damage, paralysis, or any major, life-altering injuries. I luckily only sustained injuries to my neck (chipped vertebrae) and cuts predominately on my right arm, where i presumably blocked some of the glass. I will have to wear a neck brace for 4-6 weeks but I should be all right.

I went to look at my car yesterday after i was released from the hospital and could not help but say: "I should be dead!"

I posted a picture on my attachment of me next to my car.

Default So glad you are okay

My husband and I came upon your accident before the helicopter arrived. We prayed for you as we saw your car and knew only prayer could help you survive such a horrific accident.
Thank you for posting so we know you are okay and another prayer has been answered.
