I think the southern portion of the City of Abilene is the best part of town.I hear the north side can be bad.Also, there is newer development near ACU and the walmart on the 20.

The vast majority of new residential development in Abilene is on the far south side of town, with tons of new cookie cutter subdivisions popping up in Potosà on the far southeast side along FM-1750. Sadly there’s virtually no commercial development in Potosà except for a ace hardware store they recently opened.
