I guess the trees aren't tall enough.

When I went home last week I saw some pine trees that had been planted off I20 in Dallas.

My mother wants to go on vacation for spring break. I told her we could go to Houston, she said no in a very loud voice. Then I said why, she said "I don't like Houston at all" she continued and said "Houston has nothing there for me, so why would I go!" I said "Houston has changed a lot since 1981." She said "if I could go to any city in Texas, Houston wouldn't be on my list". I said "Don't you want to see the Gulf?" She said "No, I don't need to be any closer to Mexico." I don't know how to convince her to go to Houston. I really want to go so bad. Can you guys help me? BTW she feels the same about Fort Worth too. She hates cities for no reason.

They're planting them around US 67 and I-35E in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas.

This is the smackdown thread. Get in the spirit.

Ordinarily, the majority of what I've ever said about Dallas is positive. I've even spent a good deal of time defending it on the City vs. City forum.

The live oaks in Dallas are pretty big. Those trees are native to Dallas.

I think live oaks are the most common tree in Dallas.
