Houston is further along in its downtown development than Dallas. Dallas is behind. I have hope for Dallas since they broke ground on the tallest condo tower in the Metro-plex.

Yeah, I heard the same thing, but I don't think it is true.

I wish it was true though, a building over 100 stories would make the skyline really nice.

It's not true. I just checked it, there isn't even a rumor on it.

They already built two towers/renovated two in 2001 when they relocated in Dallas.

AT&T deal means 600 jobs - Dallas Business Journal

Yeah, I knew it! AT&T do not need a new tower, they have 3 more towers surrounding the taller one.

It truly would have been cool if this rumor was even somewhat true.
I would have loved to see renderings nonetheless. I love seeing renderings- pretty exciting everytime.

Yeah, but we do not need another tower. We need to deal with our vacant towers first.

Says who?...houstonians?....Dallas havent died yet...we been building and building and building....thats what they hate...they would sell their soles to try and make everyone believe that Dallas is doomed.....I say build as many as we can get and and let the city grow into em......Houstonians try so hard to old our office vacancy over our heads while they glorify theirs...but if theirs is so much better at 12-13% why are they not building out the roof?....we are still building more than them....and recession or not, more and more cranes are slowly popping up around DTDallas AGAIN!!!....we cant be stopped....and if we can...it hasnt happend yet!!...overbuilding and all...
