My husband and I are thinking about moving to Hallsville to be closer to his work. I am looking to hear anything and everything about Hallsville.

We have three boys age 6, 5, and 1. What is there for kids to do and how are the schools? Pediatricians?

I am a stay at home mom and like to take the boys on walks. Is it good for walking there?

We will hopefully be going there this weekend to kind of look around but you can't tell too much just looking so anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

Thanks

From what I've heard Hallsville is a great place to live. I have been told the school system is above average....that's always a good thing. Good prices on real estate too!
Where are you coming from?

Hallsville is a good community with good schools. Lots of growth in the area, but still rural. More 4-wheelers around than walking shoes. Your walking would probably be done on country roads.

You would go into Longview (10-15 minutes) for shopping, doctors, entertainment, restaurants, etc.

Recent development on Hwy 449 just west of Hallsville could put you in the school district, but convenient to Hwy 259 and Longview shopping.
