In the permits filed to the town council of HP, they list the Shinola as a "temp" store, so I am assuming they wanted to fill a big storefront of the center in time for the holidays while they search for a more permanent tenant. Although even if Shinola is permanent, it is a nice addition to the center to offer a different price point for gifts and such. But I still hope it is only temporary.

Wishlist for the center right now (my own personal, nothing announced)
-Prada or Miu Miu
-Marc Jacobs
-Van Cleef & Arpels
-Dolce & Gabbana
-Aseop
-Givenchy
-Goyard

I think Dolce & Gabbana or Prada should open up. IMO

Givenchy is a possibility. If Alexander McQueen chose Dallas then Givenchy is possible.

That is what I was thinking (lol) and especially now that are in expansion mode with no central US stores. Although I wonder if the department stores and the specialty multi retailers (TRAFFIC LA/FORTY FIVE TEN) provide the market with enough without them opening a store here.

Not really. 2M+ population in the metro and there's a lot of money in and around the area. Plus the city has a large service radius (pretty much all of South Texas).

Default Dior picks Dallas’ Highland Park Village for first beauty emporium of its kind

"Though a Dior Beauty opened in Las Vegas years ago, the added bonus of a spa room — called a 'cabine' in Dior-speak — is a first for Dior in the U.S."
