I am planning on relocating by the end of the year (finally) to Houston Dallas or Austin.

I'm leaning more towards Houston but I'm interested in how each stacks up to each other

Which one is best in

Cost of living
Job economy
Night Life
Diversity (Black white, asian hispanic ...women) I like em all
Events (any special festivals)
Activities (Go karting, race tracks,
Entertaiment ( Comedy clubs, jazz clubs, concerts, Car shows,
Weather (I prefer sunny days)
Shopping (Which has the best and most malls, stores, and store diversity)
Restaurants

I am an a.s.e certified c level automotive technician and a graduate of tech school with some college education . How will I fair in those cities fairing in their job economy and cost of living.

I much prefer charms and scenery in Austin & San Antonio over Dallas. Never been to Houston.

I would highly suggest visiting all three and then making a decision. Don't make a decision based on people's opinions on this site.

Default Please guys tell him the truth.

Of course it depends on the individual but typically Houston and Dallas are in a never ending battle for which is the better place. Austin is the smaller town but is a pretty cool place.

When I had to make the same decision I chose Houston because it has a lot of opportunities and also because it is close to the ocean and is green all year long. Also of course Houston is closer to Austin and San Antonio than Dallas.

Houston's restaurant scene blows Dallas' away.

Fact: Houstonians eat out more than any other city.

Houston for everything by far. Easily the best Texan city.
