Port Isabel Housing (Brownsville, Fresno, Los Fresnos: rentals, houses, best schools)

Hi,

I may be moving to the Port Isabel area. I've looked in several places for housing rentals, especially the Brownsville paper. Anybody know of a more local paper/rag that may have rentals? I'm looking for a 2bed/1 bath house, close to the beach, and within 20 minutes of Port Isabel. It can be funky, just not dilapidated!!! Any help would be appreciated. Ciao!

What brings you to Port Isabel? That's where I spent my childhood. Last year we sold my grandmother's house on the bay and that's the last time I've been there. I have fond memories of the place.

If you can't find anything in Port Isabel, you might try Los Fresnos or Laguna Vista, too.
