this season started out soooo nice, where there were some days with highs in the 70s and the air was crisp with the sun shining and a nice breeze. but lately it's just been semi-dry and warm with little to no wind and the sun in my face all day has gotten on my last nerve...

looking at the forecast a week and a half ago, we were supposed to be down to the 70s by now with some clouds and maybe even some rain; but now it's showing that we'll be above average with highs in the mid-80s. it feels more like spring than autumn and it's driving me crazy

A forecast for a week and a half in the future is little more than a guess. I like the weather lately, except for all the pollen. Anyway, the weather pattern is changing.

I don't think we're too off from average as far as temperatures go. Maybe a few degrees warmer, but not that much. Seems like a pretty normal October here in Dallas, at least.

Feels like a normal October in West Texas. 80s in the day with overnight lows in the 50s. I love it.

The weather out here on the south High Plains of west Texas is perfect as well. However, the cool nights warn us that frigid temperatures are just around the corner.

Be happy, usually its raining during this time of year. The Ren Fest in Magnolia is pretty dry this year as opposed to slipping around in mud.

Aren't you from Houston?!? Doesn't seem like a great place for one who despises warm winters.

October is always too warm although I think this one has been less humid than normally. I remember last November, it was still quite warm more than a week into the month.
