hello people! just wondering if there are any outdoor rinks to play hockey at anywhere in the tampa area. Also, if any one plays hockey for fun outdoor, write back! we'll be out of jersey soon and moving to the tampa area and need some people to play with and some places to play. Thanks for your help!

Outdoor ice rinks in Tampa are called ponds. Sorry, I had to say that.
INDOOR hockey rinks are in Oldsmar and Brandon. They're hard to get ice time as they are very busy.

Google "tampa outdoor roller hockey". I don't know if they have a website but they do have a myspace page where they post all the going ons. They have pick up games a few days a week. I haven't played any yet as I will not be moved to Tampa till next week but I look forward to checking them out.

if there are pickup games on rinks in the area, this will be my deciding factor on moving to the tampa area. im torn between here and sarasota area.

OUTDOOR HOCKEY RINK IN TAMPA!?!?!? AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I hope your talking about roller blades. If you like Ice hockey though, Theres a spot in Brandon where the Tampa Bay Lightning practice called the Brandon Ice Sports Forum. Hockeys not a popular sport in Florida though, unless its NHL. Try to pick up football or volleyball

hello everyone..thanks 4 your thoughts..i am actually a chick..not a dude like some one thought..haha..i'm 23..and i just started playin roller hockey last yr..my brother is 17 and he plays a lot more than me..mostly b/c he can deal with the cold weather in jersey..i only play in the summer..yea i def wasn't lookin 4 outdoor ice rinks..that would be insane haha..i am a huge devils fan...ultra hate the rangers..so sorry byebynjhellofl...but we should totally play some hockey 2gether..where do you live in jersey? and where are you planning on moving to? we're thinkin the clearwater area...and to

oh yea..almost forgot..never played ice hockey..but we usually play in garfield at the park or sometimes in rochelle park by the tennis courts..and "Outdoor ice rinks in Tampa are called ponds" <----that made me laugh my ass off so thanks

hey slightlystoopid13 i sent you a DM about playin some puck. we're looking all up and down the gulf coast from the tampa area down to about north port to move. im starting to get sick of NJ and just wanna move even if its only renting for a year or two.

You can definetly find roller blade spots in Tampa. Whether or not they are playing hockey, I dont know. But you can always start you own game in a street. I use to with me friend, except we used golf clubs, hahaha, must be in Florida.

If you like Ice hockey though, Theres a spot in Brandon where the Tampa Bay Lightning practice called the Brandon Ice Sports Forum. Hockeys not a popular sport in Florida though, unless its NHL.
