TB Lightning fans are sore losers! Went to a Devils v. Lightning game at SP Times sportin' my Marty jersey and the Devs dished out a super whoopin'!!! I caught more grief leaving that game than I ever did leaving the Garden (after a Devs whoopin' on some Rangers game! he he he). But had my big ole kool-aide smile on

I disagree. I find Tampa Bay sports fans to be a lot more classy than most sports fans in the northeast. Especially Philly

I have about 6 people over here in St. Pete looking to get back into the sport. I have two sets of goalie pads and two nets, we just need a few more players looking to play once a week, probably on Saturday afternoons. Email me at tundo09@yahoo.com if anyone is interested...

Ok for starters, it has nothing to do about being classy in Philly...I just moved from there. We're passionate fans that care about the success of our teams...and yes, there are some real di ckheads for fans but for the most part everyone there is just looking for fun.

On a seperte note, just moved from there last week, signed up to play in a men's league and the goalie is horrible. The teams that are "patched" together don't get set goalies...they are pretty random. Wanted to see if anyone played goalie that was decent. If you do, and you want to play the remaining 8 games for free, e-mail me at lucidi09@aol.com

Default Let the devils invasion begin

Glad to see the right breed of Jersey is moving to Tampa. Devils and Slightlystoopid, I can deal with that, hopefully Badfish comes to visit the area a couple times too. Has anyone played indoor roller hockey down in Tampa? I grew up on the rinks of NJ and was wondering how they compared. I am assuming from the posts that there are a couple of decent outdoor rinks around.

Attending all Tampa sports (Bucs, Bolts, Bulls, and Lightning), I can attest to the fact that NY, Bos, Philly fans are among the rudest to attend our venues. Maybe Bolt fans have gotten a little tired of NY fans down in the area.

The oddest thing is that these NY fans drive off in cars w/ FLA plates.

Indoor rink in New Port Richey. My son, who plays for a team in NOVA, played in a tournament there last summer.

I believe there's an indoor rink at that large facility adjacent to the Palmetto Outlet Mall - always see a ton of cars parked outside of it - I think mostly because of kiddie hockey leagues.
