SUNY Oswego - Human Resources: Employment Opportunities

Keep in mind that Liverpool is a suburb of Syracuse. So, anywhere in the Syracuse area would be close to Liverpool.

Just so you know...

-Liverpool is a Village of about 2,500.

-Outside the village, there's a sprawling suburban area in the western part of both the Town of Clay and Town of Salina with the Liverpool zip code...therefore these places are named Liverpool, NY, but are actually located in a township of a different name.

-There are probably around 50,000 people with a Liverpool, NY address.... half in the Town of Clay, the other half in the Town of Salina.

I posted a few photos of Liverpool in my Town of Salina photo thread. Find it by scrolling down this page or the next page.

Liverpool is a nice area near Onondaga Lake and Onondaga Lake Park...which is a plus. Most of it is made up of older homes and subdivisions. Like ckhthankgod said, Liverpool is a major suburb of Syracuse. The real estate market is pretty good here....stable and steady. Lately, the job market has been slow as factory jobs are decreasing, but nothing too drastic like Detroit is experiencing currently. There was never any huge highs or over-building (like in other parts of the US) so there isn't much of a dip in the Syracuse market at the moment.
