Samoa had all/most their best players playing and are tough to beat on a hard and fast daytime field.
But yeah Italy has been disappointing recently. That All Blacks win 30-0 over France was a clinic.

Italy will come back. They are starting to do something in the Six Nations. Starting to go places. Think that their current form wont reflect on their Six Nations campaign next February.

Brumbies beat the Lions. Was quietly confident before the tour one or more of the Super 15 teams would roll them. But then when they all started fielding under strength teams I had more doubt. Brumbies were without 11 players tonight. Great effort and achievement.

Fair play to the Brumbies. Horrible loss for the Lions. Not what I wanted going into the game on Saturday.

Anyway, we need to move on and focus on Saturday. First test and a win is crucial.

You can't win them all. I am still quietly confident the Lions will do well in these upcoming tests.

Class act with those comments John. Watched the whole game. Lions weren't even close to their other performances so far on tour. Though it was near their weakest team. All will be forgiven if they win the Test series. Roll on Saturday.

Great to get the win. Reminds me of 2009 all over again. Heart almost stopped again.

I'm a Brisbane local, it was great to see so many people in red jerseys enjoying themselves in the city today, and well done to the lions! You might not be so lucky down south however
