That would be tough as in the past the tv channels are all over the place with coverage of the events, even if you do find a scheduling line up they dont always stick to it or times indicated.
Very confusing and very frustrating especially if theres a particular event you want to follow and they dont even air it or they only air part of it..

Before charter changed my DVR, a couple January's ago, there was a way you could start and end at a specific time. On the new format we have, the earliest I can start is 10 minutes before hand, and after 15 minutes can only end it on half hour intervals (actually, if even that, after 30 mins it may just go hourly). The new format blows. I remember in 08 & 04 I would check the schedule to see what was on, and set the DVR for that specific block I wanted to watch, now I can't do that.

Manually set the channel and desired start and stop times on your DVR.

As jambo101 said in the second post, this might not work all of the time.
