AWWW, this is kind of a touching story and it'll make everyone smile.
Kelo has a news story about our men returning from their Honor Flight. That is such a fabulous program. They went on to show how many of our soldiers went to greet them when they returned. AND we ranked number one for having the most people there to greet them. Can you imagine? For as unpopulated as we are, more of our soldiers and younger veterans took the time to welcome them back then in any other state.
I'd also be interested in seeing how we're doing with welcoming home our soldiers. Every time they have shown them coming home, the airport looks like it's full of the "welcome home" people.
I am glad I waited till the snow started falling and it was cold to fix my snow blower. I got it fixed and moved snow all afternoon. Its still snowing, hasn't really let up. So I will head out again in a bit try to finish up
I don't have any snow to report here (other than on Tucson's Mt. Lemmon). However, we put up our Christmas tree this afternoon. Hubby put up so many lights that the thing glows. Also, this is our first real tree in about a dozen years. Usually, trees die on their trip down to AZ from the Washington/Oregon areas. But, not this year. We have ourselves a tall, gorgeous Douglas Fir. I don't know if all this happiness is due to this tree or if I am delusional from the day I have had and the plans hubby and I are contemplating with moving to SD.....but....I don't care. Gonna have a big cup of hot cocoa and turn out all the lights (except for the tree) and relax. Thanks for putting all those lights on the tree for me hubby !!
My little sister slid 50 feet down a hill on the side of the road in the snow on her bare but while trying to pee after I told it was a bad idea.I almost cryed it was so funny.shes okay.

Ha ha ha ha. I needed the laugh.
Well Monday is upholding its nasty reputation...
Well there is the Midas touch... Well today I am suffering from Murphy's touch. Everything I seem to touch seems to break. Still have a broken pickup. I ripped and ruined a pair of pants... BDU's of all things. The list continues...
