I edited out the names on the cakes, so don't mind the big blank areas.
BTW- the care bear is for the grandson - I made 6 cupcakes, frosted them in blue and used white to put the letters of his name on them, she can put them around the cake.
Also, I'm posting a picture of the christmas eve mice I made this year.
FANTASTIC! You are very talented!

And I am a smiling grandma today!! Last night I got to hold my brand new 5 week old grandbaby. I met my 4 girls and one of their friends for dinner. They all floated in with this baby in a bassinet - smiling and giggling. It was grand to see all of them, and to snuggle this tiny little newborn in my arms. Jammie- you are right! I love the smell of the top of a baby's head. She has a whole shock of black hair! Her eyes aren't focusing yet, but they are wide open and taking it all in. Just a little sweet baby with tiny tiny toes and fingers, all waving in every direction. Trying everything out.

And, wonder of wonders, when the check came, my oldest grabbed it out of my hands and paid for it herself. I was stunned. THAT has never happened before either! All in all, the best reason I flew out here to Hawaii...

Now - it's 6AM and time for me to get to work to pay for this trip! Have to go cheer some people up and give them hope. When you see a newborn, you really get how important it is for us all to pull ourselves up and fix this mess. I'm reminded of this quote, "A baby is God's opinion that the world must go on."

Keep hope alive!
And stay connected to the ones you love!
Aloha everyone
